City of Hull Athletics Club annual Ferriby 10 mile road running race.

The race will begin at 10:00 hrs on the Sunday 28th January 2018, starting and finishing along Beverley Skidby Mill Skidby.

The race will take the route through Skidby and Little Weighton village’s in order to head west along White Gap Road turning left at Double Dike and left again at Riplingham Grange along Westoby Lane to the junction with Riplingham Road to start the return run back to the Skidby Mill via Riplingham Road and Westfield Road.

Marshalling points will be set up around the route together with caution signs. Official cars with hazard warning flashers will both lead and follow the race as it proceeds around the route. Trained first aiders will accompany the vehicles.

The anticipated number of runners will be around 900 with supporting staff of around 100 and it is envisaged that the whole event from start to finish will last for approximately 3 Hours.

Rolling road closures will be in place for the whole route, roads will be opened up to traffic as the runners progress around the route and consistent with maintaining safety and from previous experience runners will have cleared Little Weighton by 11:00 hours and roads fully opened.
